Patraporn has been raised up in business family since she was very young so Patraporn decided to do Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Advertising Management, Assumption University, Thailand. After graduation, Patraporn continued her further study at London College of Communication , London, UK where she has got Master of Arts in Marketing and Communications.

 Patraporn has always been inspired by her parents in having and owning business. At the same time, Nami, her very close cousin, who has set up Nami NYC brand in Newyork, USA also inspired her in any fashion concerned. Hence, right after returning home in Thailand, Patraporn decided to create Pietra brand with Pacharapun, her very close friend.

She is Marketing Director who in charge of shaping the brand, communicating with all stake holders and marketing them.

Right after his graduation with second class honor from faculty of Fine & Applied Arts ( Fashion Design), Thammasat University, he started his first designer career with leading women brand as Senada and Senada theory. After few years collecting working experience and his success is performing fashion show “ Elle Fashion Week 2006” He has decided to make his own brand under the name “Pacharapun” and opened his first shop at Central World Plaza. Later, he went to further study Fashion Business and Textile at London College of Fashion, London , UK. Upon returning home after his course completion in London, he has joined with Patraporn as co-partner and created the new brand “Pietra” Pacharapun is creative director, he is responsible for all designs and also in charge of production and design direction in every collection of Pietra. Moreover, Pacharapun and Patraporn has been presently given opportunities to be responsible for both designs and production of clothes for several leading entertainment companies and leading music companies up till now.

“The Butterfly Journey”

Pietra autumn winter 2009 collection would like to present the story of Monarch butterfly from their annual migration derived from them to the inspiration of designing and creating clothes which reflected and absorbed the sweet smell of the flowers fields in winter of southern Canada.  They migrate into the south where the beauty of warmer sunlight in the gulf of Mexico is awaiting their return in preparation for the coming summer of the largest group in the world of Monarch butterfly.

Therefore, Pietra women in this collection can easily enjoy the mix and match of silhouette, color tone and contrasting details perfectly, creating differences of this AW collection, 09 from the general winter outfits which normally present mostly rather dark and dull color. So whenever you wear Pietra AW 09 or wherever you go the north or south, you can certainly be sure of the fun and joy you will have in picking up the colorful collection in your wardrobe.

“The Spring Summer 2009 Collection” has been inspired by the x-ray portrait of flower that passed on the hidden beauty inside the structure of flower which never before has this been revealed to the naked eyes. We have therefore been impressed by this wonderful idea and tried to translate this concept into the structure of our collection. We will focus on showing the hidden mighty power lying beneath the tenderness of women, and also the layering technique of fabrics used to give the feeling of illusion and disguise at the same time. Yes, that is our point to reveal what is hidden beneath the simple structure of clothes but full of complicated detailed techniques-and that is ,of course, female structure.
